We had lunch at the pier, overlooking Lake St. Clair.
Daddy brought home huge snowballs courtesy of a Zamboni. He and the kids had a snowball fight in the sprawling backyard.
We had family pictures taken at a beautiful park. Here are the grandkids...
We even got to wear jackets one day!
Tom's brother Roy, wife Dawn, sister Peggy and husband Vern.
Pops has been attending physical therapy for months with the goal in mind of being able to dance with his daughter-in-law at the wedding. Isn't that SO sweet?!
Other favorite activities included shopping with Peggy (I found TWO pairs of cute, cheap shoes and TWO dirt cheap super-cute sunglasses), learning about beading from Mom, spending the day at Memorial Park with the fam and Tom's friend, John's family and attending the lovely wedding of Tom's cousin, Michelle.
Fun fun fun! That picture of the grandkids is so cute. It's funny how all three of your kids are looking to their right. And wow, Madilyn is a KID! She's so big! That's darling about the physical therapy. You must be some darn good motivation! :)

ReplyDeleteI like the stories of your visit to the most important barrier state that dances with our evil foe Canada. I'm glad you had fun! I agree with mom... cute kids you have!
